Problem Solving & Engineering
First-principles process engineering, mass and energy balances and system design that fit your real site, feedstock and budget.
Engineering & project management
Creative problem-solving and hands-on project management for gas processing, renewable energy and industrial projects, from first concept to a running plant.
01 — Services
We step in where projects get difficult: unusual process conditions, tight schedules, equipment that won't behave. Then we stay until the problem is solved.
First-principles process engineering, mass and energy balances and system design that fit your real site, feedstock and budget.
Planning, schedule control and coordination of suppliers and contractors, with specifications and bid reviews that get equipment right first time.
Gas treatment and TSA drying systems, vessels and process equipment designed around your requirements and the applicable codes.
Shop and field inspection, installation support and start-up, solving issues on the spot so your plant starts on schedule.
02 — In-house product
Biogas is wet, corrosive and variable, and standard dryers often struggle with it. We developed our own temperature swing adsorption (TSA) dryer for these conditions. While one desiccant bed dries the gas, a small stream regenerates the other, so the unit runs continuously and keeps gas quality on spec.
03 — Approach
Nothing gets lost between the design office, the shop floor and the site, because the same team carries the project through.
Feasibility, balances, technology selection and cost.
Process design, P&IDs, specifications and code compliance.
Vendor packages, bid review and schedule control.
Shop oversight, inspection and clear reporting.
Start-up support, troubleshooting and tuning.
04 — Experience
A selection of the work we do, described by type rather than by client.
In-house dryer design for biogas, in reliable continuous operation for more than four years.
Design and delivery of gas drying units for industrial customers.
Projects managed from engineering through to delivery.
Process and project engineering for biogas upgrading plants.
We often work behind the scenes for technology providers and EPC contractors, so we respect their confidentiality and describe our experience by type of work.
05 — Why INFIBIT
Renewable gas plants capture methane that would otherwise escape and turn waste into usable energy. With CO₂ capture they can go further and become carbon-negative. It is the kind of work we enjoy most.
When a design doesn't fit or equipment misbehaves at start-up, we find the root cause and a practical fix.
Suppliers, contractors and site teams coordinated by one team, so you have one accountable partner.
Our own biogas dryer has run for over four years. Our engineering holds up in the real world, not just on paper.
“We will either find a way or make one.”
The principle behind every project we take on.
